Healing Prayer Mini-Course Offerings

Foundations 1: Introduction to Healing Prayer

This first foundations course is a basic introduction to healing. Designed in seven short, 30-minute individual teachings. Topics studied are: Why Jesus Came; Physical Healing; Forgiveness; Emotional Healing; Salvation; The Power of the Holy Spirit; and The Faith and Courage to Pray for Healing. This course explains the Biblical foundation of healing prayer, defining in simple terms the mystery surrounding this often misunderstood ministry. Introduction to Healing Prayer will encourage those members of your church who want to be involved in healing prayer but do not know where to start. It will also answer the questions most Christians ask who have not been exposed to healing prayer, questions that all of us have wondered at one point or another. This course is offered in video format, and it includes a manual, with discussion questions for small group interaction.

Foundations 2: Introductory Training for Prayer Teams

The second Foundations course is Foundations 2: Introductory Training for Prayer Teams or Praying Effectively in Five Minutes. Taught by Norma Dearing, this course is a must for every church wanting to begin basic prayer team ministry. It is a very introductory, simple teaching on healing and praying for one another in churches, altar ministry, home and hospital visitations, or any small group setting. It covers basic teachings on such topics as the Biblical background for healing prayer, the types of healing (spiritual, physical and emotional), forgiveness, how to minister in teams, the laying on of hands, and expectations and faith. This course focuses on the practical application of prayer ministry.
